Facebook makes you fat (really?)
Finally, the proof we needed:
Sitting around all day at a computer makes you fat. At least according to a report from McCann Truth Central which focuses on the naughtily sedentary nature of Facebook-browsing.
Not sure about all this. Thanks to a great Christmas present (a Garmin Edge 500), I am using technology to inspire me to get out on my bike and achieve a computer-measured goal or two, which can be shared – er – via Facebook.
Technology is a tool. What matters is how you use it. This was true 1,000 years ago. It still is. If you are putting on a few pounds, I’m not sure you can blame Mark Zuckerberg. But feel free to disagree!
